Walks & Hikes

Here is a list of hikes I have completed in Japan and around Upstate New York.  None of the hikes are particularly difficult unless otherwise noted.

JAPAN

Key: Name of Hike (nearest station) - notes

Kobe Area:

Nunobiki Falls & Dam (Shin Kobe) - An easy hike if you don't have a lot of time or have plans in the city.
Mt Maya (Shin Kobe) - A long hike with a lot of ups and downs.  You can take Maya Cable from the top.
Mikage Area-Rokko Garden Terrace (Hankyu Mikage) - trail I took with Randonee.  Good beginner's hike.
Rokko Garden Terrace (Hankyu Rokko & Bus to Rokko Cable) - Not really a hike, but the easy way up.
Wild Boar Trail(Hankyu Okamoto) - I take my friends along this route to see wild boar from a safe distance.

Harima Area:

Akashi Kaigan Walk (JR Akashi) - Walk along the beach and take in the views of the bridge!
Okubo Nature Trail (Sanyo Nakayagi) -  You can take this trail from the ocean up to Ishigadani Park in the north part of Okubo.
